About Me

My name is Sarah Smith and although I am initially from California attended college at Pratt Institute in New York. My background includes working for a boutique architecture studio in NY and as a designer and salesperson at Ruby Living Designs in Mill Valley, CA. My range of experience has given me a diverse knowledge of the interior design industry, from construction to the need to provide excellent customer service.

I now reside in Atlanta with my husband and two children; my passion for interior design and need for better work-life balance led me to open my design studio SAS Interior Design in 2019.

My style ranges from transitional to relaxed contemporary. I love adding natural materials to a design to warm up a space and add organic texture.

I think design can be compared to music; there are a lot of different music genres as there are design styles, and finding a look that speaks to you is like finding a song you can play over and over again.
